1597. Joseph¹¹ Ives (Hannah¹² Merriman) was born in New Haven, New Haven, CT 14 October 1674. Joseph died 18 March 1755 in Age 81, at 80 years of age.

He married Esther Benedict 11 May 1697 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT. Esther was born 5 October 1679 in Norwalk, Fairfield, CT. Esther was the daughter of Thomas Benedict and Mary Messenger. Esther died 1 January 1752 in Age 72, at 72 years of age.

Joseph Ives and Esther Benedict had the following children:

1598 i. Thomas¹⁰ Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 30 May 1698. Thomas died 13 January 1747 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 48 years of age. He married Rebecca Hotchkiss 15 November 1720 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut.

+ 994 ii. Elizabeth Ives was born 6 September 1700.

1599 iii. Hannah Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 13 October 1702. Hannah died 1750 in Congregational, Cheshire, CT, at 47 years of age. She married Abraham Sperry 1 June 1725 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT.

1600 iv. Abigail Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 27 August 1704. Abigail died 26 February 1762 in Age 58, at 57 years of age. She married twice. She married Daniel Sperry 5 February 1723 in New Haven, New Haven, CT.

1601 v. Esther Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 7 January 1706. Esther died 29 May 1785 in Congregational, Cheshire, CT, at 79 years of age. She married Joseph Smith 20 December 1727 in Cheshire, New Haven, CT.

1602 vi. Joseph Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 10 December 1709. Joseph died 29 March 1766 in Cheshire, N-Hun, CT, at 56 years of age. He married Marie Munson 13 June 1733. He married Mary Hotchkiss 30 May 1745.

1603 vii. Phineas Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 8 April 1711. Phineas died 17 May 1762 in Age 52, at 51 years of age. He married Margery Munson 26 January 1738 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT.

1604 viii. Nathaniel Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 15 January 1714. Nathaniel died 23 February 1800 in Congregational, Cheshire, CT, at 86 years of age. He married Mehitable Andrews 1 January 1745/1746 in Wallingford, CT.

1605 ix. Ephraim Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 4 January 1717. Ephraim died 1762 at 45 years of age. He married Elizabeth Atwater 12 March 1741 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT.

1606 x. Dinah Ives was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 4 April 1721.
