1596. Abigail¹¹ Merriman (Nathaniel¹², George¹³, Gregory¹⁴) was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 18 April 1654. Abigail died 1679 at 25 years of age.

She married John Hitchcock 18 January 1670 in New Haven, Connecticut. John was born 1645 in New Haven, New Haven, CT. John was the son of Matthias OR Matthew Hitchcock and Elizabeth Rogers?. John died 6 July 1716 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 71 years of age. (See John Hitchcock for the children resulting from this marriage.)
