He married Sarah Moss 17 January 1754 in Wallingford (V), New Haven, Connecticut. Sarah was born 28 November 1734 in Wallingford (V), New Haven, CT. Sarah was the daughter of Solomon Moss and Sarah Fenn. Sarah died 13 December 1808 in Hamden, New Haven, CT, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in O G Mount Carmel, Hamden, CT.

child 568 vi. Amos Royce was born in Wallingford (V), New Haven, CT 7 March 1765. Amos died 24 January 1828 at 62 years of age.

child 569 vii. Benaja Royce was born in Wallingford (V), New Haven, CT 16 March 1767. He married Sarah Hough 31 January 1793. Sarah was born 1767. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph Hough and Catherine Yale. Sarah died 1832 at 65 years of age.

child 570 viii. Thankful Royce was born in Wallingford (V), New Haven, CT 19 October 1769. Thankful died 14 April 1820 in Hamden, New Haven, CT, at 50 years of age. Her body was interred in O G Mount Carmel, Hamden, New Haven, CT. She married Joel Hough December 1801.

child 572 x. Ira Royce was born in Wallingford (V), New Haven, CT 22 March 1774. He married three times. He married Eunice Rogers 27 November 1796. He married Nancy Avery 25 December 1800. He married Ardelia P. Stevens 20 March 1831.

child 573 xi. Merab Royce was born in Wallingford (V), New Haven, CT 12 May 1776. Merab died 10 September 1807 at 31 years of age. She married Jonathan Dickerman.
