He married Mary Sims 4 June 1634 in Long Sutton, Parish, Somerset, England. Mary was born 1609 in England. Mary was the daughter of John Sims (or Symes) and Sarah Baker. Mary died July 14 1696 in Wallingford, CT, at 88 years of age.

2306 ii. Sarah Royce was born in Martock, Somerset, England 1634/1635. Sarah died 1 May 1711 in Norwich, CT, at 75 years of age. Her body was interred May 1711. She married John Caulkins 1657/1658 in New London, New London, CT. John was born 1634 in Monmouth, England. John was the son of Hugh Caulkins and Ann Eaton. John died 8 January 1702 in Norwich, New London, CT, at 67 years of age. His body was interred January 1702 in Norwich, New London, CT.

2307 iii. Nehemiah Royce was born in Wallingford, New London, CT 1636. Nehemiah died 7 November 1706 in Wallingford, New London, CT, at 70 years of age. He was a shoemmaker. He married Hannah. He married Hannah Morgan 20 November 1660 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut. Hannah died 19 June 1677 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT.

He married Elizabeth Lathrop 15 December 1669 in Double Wedding, With Her Brother, & His Sister. Elizabeth was born March 1648 in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA. Elizabeth was the daughter of Samuel Lathrop and Elizabeth Scudder. Elizabeth died 1690 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 42 years of age. Her body was interred before 1690. They had four children; Isaac (b. 1673), Robert (b. 1674), Sarah (b. 1677) and Martha (b. 1679).

2313 xiv. Ruth Royce was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 7 December 1645. Ruth died 10 November 1732 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 86 years of age. She married twice. She married John Lathrop 15 December 1669 in New London, New London, CT. John was born 7 December 1645 in Boston, Suffolk, MA. John was the son of Samuel Lathrop and Elizabeth Scudder. John died 26 August 1688 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 42 years of age. They had eight children. She married Abraham Doolittle 12 February 1689 in Wallingford, Connecticut. Abraham was born 12 February 1649 in New Haven, New Haven, CT. Abraham was the son of Abraham Doolittle and Joan Allen. Abraham died 10 November 1732 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 83 years of age. They had no children.

2309 ix. Nathaniel Royce was born in Wallingford, New Haven, CT 1 April 1639. Nathaniel died 8 February 1736 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT, at 96 years of age. He was a carpenter, joiner and blacksmith. He married three times. He married Esther ______ 27 October 1673. Esther was born 2 January 1653 in New Haven, CT. Esther may have been the daughter of John Moss Cpl and Abigail Charles. Esther died 19 June 1677 in Wallingford, CT, at 24 years of age. They had two children; John (b. 11 Apr 1675) and Benjamin (b. 1677). Nathaniel married second, Sarah Lathrop on 21 April 1681. She was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Scudder) Lathrop. They had four children; Sarah (b. 3 Apr 1683), Hester (b. 10 Sep 1685, d. 1703), Lois (b. 29 Jul 1687), and Elizabeth (b. 28 Dec 1689). On 24 Aug 1707, Nathaniel married Hannah Wilcoxson, daughter of Joseph Wilcoxon and Anna Mitchell in Wallingford, CT. Hannah was born 19 Jan 1665/66 and died 6 Feb 1707/8.
