He married Mary Prescott 2 July 1648 in Lancaster, Middlesex, MA. Mary was born 24 February 1630 in Sowerby, Halifax, York, England. Mary was the daughter of John Prescott and Mary Gawkroger. Mary died 1717/1718 in Lancaster, MA, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred April 1716.

5809 v. Joshua Sawyer was born in Lancaster, MA 13 March 1655. Joshua died 14 July 1738 in Woburn, MA, at 83 years of age. He married twice. He married Sarah Wright 2 January 1678 in Lancaster, MA.

5810 vi. James Sawyer was born in Lancester, Worcester, MA 22 March 1657. James died 27 January 1753 in Lancaster, Worcester, MA, at 95 years of age. He married Mary Marble 4 February 1678 in Lancaster, Worcester, Mass.

5811 vii. Caleb Sawyer was born in Lancaster, Worcester, MA 20 May 1659. Caleb died 13 February 1755 in Lancaster, Worcester, MA, at 95 years of age. He married Sarah Houghton 28 December 1687 in Lancaster, Middlesex, Massachusetts.

5812 viii. Nathaniel Sawyer was born in Lancaster, Worcester, MA 24 November 1660.

5813 ix. John Sawyer was born in Lancaster, MA 6 April 1661. John died 27 February 1749/1750 in Lyme, New London, CT, at 88 years of age. He married Mary Ball 16 June 1686 in Worcester, MA.

5814 x. Elizabeth Sawyer was born in Lancaster, Worcester, MA 5 January 1663. She married James Hosmer 6 February 1687/1688 in Concord, Middlesex, Mass.

5815 xi. Deborah Sawyer was born in Lancaster, Worcester, MA 1666/1667. Deborah died 16 July 1666 in Lancaster, Worcester, MA, at less than one year of age.

5816 xii. Nathaniel Sawyer was born in Lancaster, Worcester, MA 24 April 1670. Nathaniel died 10 November 1756 in Lancaster, Worcester, MA, at 86 years of age He married Mary Sawyer about 1692.

5817 xiii. Martha Sawyer was born in Lancaster, Worcester, MA 10 August 1673.
