6322. Anthony¹⁴ Eames {[Captain]} was born in Fordington, Dorsetshire, England 1595. He came to America aboard the "Recovery Of London" on 31 March 1633/34. While he lived at Fordington, he served as Church Warden in 1622, 1627 and 1631. He was admitted a freeman at Charleston, MA on 10 February 1634/35. He removed to Hingham and then Marshfield where he served as deputy to the General Court in 1637, 1638, 1643, 1653, 1658 and 1661. He was also a Captain in the militia in 1644 and 1645. Anthony died 1686 in Marshfield, Plymouth, MA, at 91 years of age.

He married Margery ______ about 1615 in England. She may have been the daughter of John Pierce. Margery died 31 December 1662 in Marshfield, Plymouth, MA, at 63 years of age.

6323 ii. John Eames was baptized in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England 24 January 1618/9. John died 3 November 1641 in Hingham, Plymouth, MA, at 23 years of age.

6325 iii. Mark Eames was baptized in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England 1620. Mark died before 1693 in MA, at 74 years of age. He married Elizabeth Andrews 26 May 1648 and lived at Marshfield, MA.

6326 iv. Persis Eames was baptized in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England 28 October 1621. Persis died 31 December 1662 at 41 years of age at Hingham, MA. She married Captain Michael Pierce 1645 in Scituate, Plymouth, MA.

6326 v. Anna (or Hannah) Eames was baptized in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England about 1622. She died either at Lancaster, Worcester, MA on 10 June 1692, or 1 September 1684 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. 1662 at 41 years of age at Hingham, MA. She married Thomas Wilder April 1640 in Charleston, Suffolk, MA.

+ 4778 vi. Elizabeth Eames was baptized 13 June 1624 in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England. She married Edward Wilder about 1650 in Hingham, MA.

6328 vii. Justus Eames was born in England 1626. He was baptized in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England 29 April 1627. Justus died 1706 at 79 years of age. He married Mehitable Chillingsworth 2 May 1661 in Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. She was the daughter of Thomas and Joanne Chillingsworth.

6329 viii. Margery Eames was baptized in Fordington, St George, Dorset, England 5 December 1630. Margery died 7 April 1659 in Hingham, Plymouth, MA, at 28 years of age. She married John Jacob 20 October 1653 in Hingham, Plymouth, Mass.

6330 ix. Abigail Eames was born in Charlestown, Suffolk, MA about 1632. She married Charles Stockbridge. Abigail died March 1709/1710 at 77 years of age.
