4034. Thomas¹³ Judd (William¹⁴) was born in Langley Parish, Kent, England 1602/1608. Thomas died 12 November 1688 in Northampton, Hampshire, MA, at 85 years of age. Thomas Judd came to the US aboard the Hopewell in 1632. He came with hi s wife Elizabeth ( last name unknown) who died around 1678 in Farmington. He died 1688.

4035 i. William¹² Judd was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT. William died October 1690 in Farmington, Hartford, CT. He married Mary Steele 30 March 1657/1658 in Farmington, Hartford Co, Conn. Mary was born 1635 in Hartford, Hartford, CT. Mary was the daughter of John Steele and Rachel Talcott. Mary died 27 October 1718 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 83 years of age.

4036 ii. Elizabeth Judd was born in Farmington, Hartford, CT 1633/1636. Elizabeth died 7 May 1696 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 61 years of age. She married Samuel Loomis 27 December 1653 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut. Samuel was born about 1628 in Braintree, Essex, England. Samuel was the son of Joseph Loomis and Mary White. Samuel died 1 October 1689 in CT, at 61 years of age. Elizabeth Judd was born in England or Hartford, CT. (Depending if she was the first or second of Thomas' children.) She resided in Windsor, CT as of 1666, had 10 children, moved to Westfield, CT in 1674.

4037 iv. John Judd was born in Hartford, CT March 1640. John died 1715 in Farmington, CT, at 75 years of age. He married Mary Hawkins in Hartford Co, Conn.

4038 v. Benjamin Judd was born in Hartford, CT 1642/1643. Benjamin died 1689/1690 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 47 years of age. He married Mary Lewis 1667 in Farmington, Hartford, Conn. Mary was born 6 May 1645 in Farmington, Hartford, CT. Mary was the daughter of William Lewis and Mary Hopkins. Mary died 1691 in Farmington, Hartford, CT, at 46 years of age.

4039 vi. Mary Judd was born in Farmington, Hartford, CT 1644/1645. Mary died 8 August 1684 in Windsor, Hartford, CT, at 39 years of age. She married Thomas Loomis 13 November 1651 in CT. Thomas was born 1618 in Braintree, Essex, England. Thomas was the son of Joseph Loomis and Mary White. Thomas died 28 August 1689 in CT, at 71 years of age.

4040 vii. Ruth Judd was born in Farmington, Hartford, CT 7 February 1647. Ruth died November 1689 at 42 years of age. She married John Steele 1668 in Hartford, Hartford Co, Conn.

4041 viii. Philip Judd was born in Hartford, Hartford, CT 2 September 1649. Philip died October 1689 in Waterbury, New Haven, CT, at 40 years of age. His body was interred 1 October 1689. Philip married Hannah Loomis in 1677.

4043 x. Samuel Judd was born in Hartford, CT December 1651. Samuel died 10 January 1721 in Ae 67, at 69 years of age. He married Mariah Strong in 1681.

My name is Miriam Belmaker. I am a direct descendant from Deacon Thomas Judd born ca. 1608 in England (Prob. Essex)... to make a long story short, I found your web site concerning the Andrews family and I think that can help. All this info comes from the book " Thomas Judd and his descendants" by Sylvester Judd, 1856, Northampton. A microfilm is available at the LSD library in Salt Lake. The first Thomas Judd was born in 1608 in England and came to the US aboard the Hopewell in 1632. He came with hi s wife Elizabeth ( last name unknown) who died around 1678 in Farmington. He died 1688. He had several children , one of which Wiliam Judd (14 on the web site). This William married Mary Steele. His son, Thomas Judd (13 on your web site) married Sarah Freeman feb, 9 1688. They had 9 children. Another son of the original Thomas Judd and brother of William Judd was Thomas Judd born 1638, he married Sarah Steele and died 1703. His son Thomas Judd Married Sarah Gaylord. So we have 2 lines of descent from two brother: Thomas Judd mentioned in your file is actually 2 couisns each married once to a differnt woman rather than one married twice. William Judd married Mary Steele Thomas Judd 1662 on web , married Sarah Freeman. Children:

The refernce I gave gives all the birth and death dates as well as descendants till 1850. I myself am descendant of a 3rd brother, Benjamin. I have given you the general outline of the family.
