52. William⁵ Naylor (Joseph⁶, Charles⁷, James⁸, Joseph⁹, George¹⁰) was born in Horsforth, Yorkshire, England 4 August 1852. William died 21 August 1918 in Springfield, Hampden, MA, at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Lot 4-Group 146, Oakland Cem, Cranston, RI.

He married twice. He married Ida Elizabeth Gage 18 June 1890 in Hartford, Hartford, CT. Ida was born 24 February 1859 in Newport, Newport, RI. Ida was the daughter of Isaac Gardner Gage and Nancy Jeffers Streeter. Ida died 18 January 1949 in West Springfield, Hampden, MA, at 89 years of age. He married Eliza Ann Ellis 26 Dec. William was born at Bradford, Yorkshire, but grew up at Leeds, Yorkshire. The family came to Holyoke about 1883. William recieved his naturalization certificate 13 October 1892 at Kings County, NY. He was an Organ Maker. He died at 10:55am at 35 Able Avenue in Springfield.

William Naylor and Ida Elizabeth Gage had the following children:

53 i. Tirzah Esther⁴ Naylor was born in Springfield, Hampden, MA 24 July 1891. She married Harry Herbert Hollins 18 June 1914 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Harry was born 15 September 1870 in Harborne, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Harry was the son of Benjamin Hollins and Julie. Harry died 11 April 1969 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, at 98 years of age. Terizah was baptized at Puritan Congregational Church in Brooklyn, NY, by Dr. E.P. Tezhune on 24 April 1892.

+ 20 ii. Benjamin Eli Naylor was born 1 November 1892.

54 iii. Mildred Vida Naylor was born in Brooklyn, NY 29 January 1895. She married James Stephenson O'Higgins 8 March 1929 in Martinsville, NJ. James was born 31 July 1873 in London, Ontario, Canada. James was the son of Joseph O'Higgins and Isabella. James died 18 November 1959 at 86 years of age. She was born at 2:40am at 123 Putnam Ave, Brooklyn.

55 iv. Atarah Eunice Naylor was born in Brooklyn, NY 19 March 1898. Atarah died January 11, 1996 at 97 years of age. She married Leon Block 1 September 1927. Leon died 1944. She was born at 7:10 am at 123 Putnam Avenue in Brooklyn. She was baptized at the Church of the Incarnation, Brooklyn, NY on 15 Oct 1899 by Dr. J.J. Bacchus. Atarah was an accomplished artist.

56 v. Phebe Abigail Naylor was born in Brooklyn, NY 27 August 1900. Birth site: 1097 Fulton Street, 2 a.m.. Phebe died 15 May 1951 in Springfield, Hampden, MA, at 50 years of age. She married Richard Donald Nye Dickinson 11 June 1924 in Springfield, Hampden, MA. Richard was born 14 January 1901 in East Northfield, MA. Richard was the son of George Lyman Dickinson and Lillian Nye. Richard died 19 September 1972 at 71 years of age.
